I'm a French teacher and starting this April, I will be teaching French to a group of students who are planning to work in the tourism area. Since they have a French component to their program, I would need to introduce them to specific English - French expressions/vocabulary used in that field. I do believe that some will be applying to work with Marine Atlantic and therefore, would like to have the necessary terms on hand to give them to better serve the public boarding the ferries. e.g. Terms dealing with parts of the ship, safety gear on board, cabine accommodations, etc. I'm sure this specialized vocabulary is available and therefore,I hope Termium plus can help me in this request. Thank you.
